Poker Flash Instructions

Create the best possible Poker hands in each row and column in a 5 x 5 grid. Click on a square to place the next card at that square. When all 25 squares contain cards the round is over. Note: Selecting Quit will end the entire game, not just the round. Three rounds are played each game. Each round you may replace one card that has already been placed. To replace a card, just click on it and the next card will go in that square.

Scoring: You must get at least 2 pair to get points for a row or column. The Point Award breakdown for each poker hand is shown on the right of the game board. At the end of the round, your remaining timer X the total point award is your score for the round. Scoring on 8, 9, or all 10 rows and columns gets you an extra 5,000, 10,000 or 25,000 points respectively for the round. Replacing a card will not remove points already awarded, so you can use the replace to rescore a row for extra points.

Minimum High Score: 250,000 - required to qualify for a high score.

Strategy: Build Flushes across and 4-Of-A-Kinds/Full Houses down. Use a different suit for each of the first 4 rows, and use the 5th row for making pairs. When placing the first couple of cards try the keep roughly the same amount of cards in each column. This will give you more opportunities to make 2, 3, & 4 Of A Kind. Also, save that replace card opportunity for something really big. Try to use it to rescore a 4-Of-A-Kind and a Flush twice. Since the time remaining is multiplied by your total points award, speed is very important in this game.
