Clean Sweep Instructions

Remove cards from the board that are adjacent and match in value. Ex: Three and Three, King and King... Click on two cards that are touching horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to remove them. When spots open up for new cards, you can either shift the cards around or add new cards. Click on one of the 4 arrows (next to the Add Cards button) to push all of the cards in that direction to fill empty spots. Click on the Add Cards button to fill the board with new cards. Try to use all 52 cards and clear the board. A total of 3 rounds are played.

Scoring: The more cards you remove in a row, the more each removed pair is worth. Each pair of cards removed is worth 1000 X the run. If you shift the cards, you lose 1000 points. Each time you add more cards, you lose 1000 points. If you use all the cards and clear the board, you get a 10,000 plus a timer bonus worth 0-5000.

Minimum High Score: 70,000 - required to qualify for a high score.

Strategy: Try to minimize the number of times you must use the Arrow buttons and the Add Card button. Try to set up the cards so that you can remove a bunch of cards at one time. You may even want to move the cards to put a match next to each other, and then add more cards before removing that match. That way, you increase the chance for a longer run and you don't have to worry about having no matches available when you add new cards. At the end, don't leave yourself with four cards all in the same column or row.
