I am getting this error message on all SCORED games. (I am not getting it on Scroggle, so at least I have my Scroggle fix for the day) I have not had this problem in the past. Yes, the first thing I did was reboot. Didn't help.

I am having same problem. The only game I can play is the Daily Scroggle. I can access the scores and instructions but not open the games to play.

same thing here on both my imac and ibm ..... flyers are loosing kids are stir crazy and lalena is down........ ahhhhhhhhh time for wiiiiii

Today, Monday, the site seems to be OK. It must be that ML was adding chat screens on the rest of the games, which I approve of whole heartedly. Dail Scroggle was the only game up Sunday and coincidentally the only screen that previously had a chat room. Great that the chat rooms are up and running on other games. Bummer that we missed a day of games. Boo hoo.

 | Sorry about the problems on Sunday. Didn't realize the other games were down until someone in the Scroggle chat room sent me a message. Still working on some changes and sometimes I forget code is shared in multiple places and I don't test everything I should.

Just to cover what I'm currently doing wtih Scroggle
- Slowly moving Scroggle to its new home: http://www.dailyscroggle.com/
- New tabs for scores, chat, and whose online
- Fixed the issues with getting duplicate chat messages or getting an error after submitting a message
Still need to:
- Start using a new larger dictionary for Scroggle. Going from 84,000 to 237,000 words. Should be no more problems with words missing (except profanity). This is all set, but I can't go live with this until everyone is using dailyscroggle.com
- When dailyscroggle.com does go live, all links on lalena.com will redirect to the new site. Still some cleanup and testing left to do before this happens.
- Need to fix the issue of losing what you typed when someone else posts a chat message as you are typing
Eventually, every so often I want to have themes for Scroggle. People will be able to submit their own word lists, all relating to a common category. Ex: Category: baseball, Words: stadium, batter, pitcher, outfield... The game will take your words and make a puzzle using as many of those words as possible. There will still be many words not relating to that theme, so you wont get too much of an advantage.

Arogue,
I just want to get some more information to help solve the problem.
What operating system and browser are you using?
Is just the game board black, or is everything black.
The game says you found one word. How did you find that one?
If you go to the menu of your browser, and select Tools-> Sun Java Console, do you see any errors in that window?

Michael: This problem is not concerning Scroggle. I am posting it hear because I know you view this forum frequently. On the regular chat for the other games, at 12:40 am 2/16/08, pjbrady10 posted an obscenity. "crue s*cks c*ck" I can only assume he was drunk. People like this ruin the advantage of having a chat for everyone else. I realize that you cannot block obscene language from the chat. My grandson who is 10 happens to love this site. I don't know what the solution is. I just wanted to make you aware of the problem and see if you possibly had any ideas of how this could be handled.

 | Hi Michael...on today's game it shows me as getting 160 words but my score is still at 4815. My other question is...will you be bringing the Scroggle that used to be on the bottom of the games list? When I used to finish the other Scroggle (which is a rarety) or when I got frustrated with it I would play the other one for a break. Thanks again for creating such a great site. :)

The only way I am able to play daily scroggle is at work which isn't very easy with bosses coming by unexpectedly all day long. I have a MAC OS X at home and all I get is a grey screen with the dreaded red "X" in the upper left hand corner. I can see and use the chat, but there is no game. Could you please let me know if I can access the game with the MAC and if so, how??? Thanks in advance!

I can play the single version with no problem. I have cleared cache, re downloaded Java multiple times, have gone to the Java help page, all to no avail. This is all on my laptop, I am able to use other computers to get the game. I have posted in the forum multiple times asking for help. This all happened around Dec. 4, 2008 for no reason that I can figure. Please help.

Thought I would try posting again. I have changed from "played" to "solved" repeatedly in the checkbox on personalize page and have even waited for weeks, but it won't change!
